What should I do if I have a damaged or defective iPad?

Many issues can be resolved by updating the iPad OS to the latest version.

In Workspace One:

  • Devices > List View.
  • Select iPad > More Actions > Choose the latest Available OS update.
  • Select the Update option.
    • Download or install the software update
    • Download the software update and trigger the restart countdown notification

Or on the iPad:

  • Connect to Wi-Fi (and Power.)

Settings > General

> Software Update.

For best practice on maintaining battery health please consider the following

The battery in your iPad should last the whole day. You can charge your iPad every night even if the battery isn't fully depleted. You may disconnect your iPad when fully charged for optimal battery life.

iPads that are inoperable due to physical damage or defects, should be returned to the C3 IGNITE support team for repair or replacement.
